Sabaton – Swedish Empire Live 2013 (CD + DVD)
Swedish metallers SABATON have set “Swedish Empire Live” as the title of their new DVD and Blu-ray, due on September 20 via Nuclear Blast. The disc is expected to include footage of the band’s November 16, 2012 headlining concert at Scandinavium in Gothenburg, Sweden, along with other video material.

Hans Platz is a German guitarist that has many years of studio and live experience with several bands. For some years now, he plays in the band‚Feuerschwanz„, with whom he was already able to celebrate chart successes.

Crowdburn – Ignition 2013
Leave it to Sweden (UmeÃ¥, Sweden to be exact) to deliver another helping of fresh and exciting material in the form of a LP! I am beginning to wonder if they just pass out instruments to newborns over there and then preach to them that their sole-goal in life will be to form either a rock and roll band or, in this case, a heavy metal one. It’s possible right? Really though it does make sense that so many cool bands come from Sweden since we’re talking about a place where youngsters (4th graders and up I believe?) are encouraged to learn to play an instrument. I wish it was like that here in the States. Anyway, here we have Crowdburn who were formed in late 2010.
BlackSlash – Separate But Equal 2013
The record 7HARD Records, has released the first musical work of German training, BlackSlash, called “Separate But Equal”. The album is characterized by being loaded with heavy metal epic, reminiscent of the Italian band Wotan. The disc details below:
The Flying Eyes – Lowlands 2013
Clearly the late 60s and early 70s shine through and an actual continuation of these sounds.Obviously a dedicated band’s sound is already found. The rear view mirrors are adjusted, but the view facing front. Not surprising that “Lowlands”, the third album, has once again taken a sound change and is a little more focused, more heavy and more homogeneous than ever before.
