Neopera – Destined Ways 2014
Neopera, founded in 2010 by Jörn Schubert (Dark Age), combines rough and finest metal with elements of classical music. Dominant guitars, aggressive shouts and impelling beats unite with classical vocals and orchestral arrangements. When Jörn chose Nina Jiers and Thorsten Schuck as singers for the band, his project took more and more shape. For debut album DESTINED WAYS the band was also supported by Dirk Schlächter (Gamma Ray, bass), Corvin Bahn (Crystal Breed, orchestral arrangements), André Schumann (Dark Age, drums) und Eike Freese (Dark Age, shouts, production) as well as by Mirko Gluschke (ex-Dead End Circle, shouts).
