Uriah Heep – Classic Album Selection (5 CD) 2013
Ken Hensley, Mick Box, Paul Newton, David Byron, Nigel “Ollie” Olsson.
It was three quarters into the recording of the album that drummer Alex Napier was replaced by Nigel (Ollie) Olsson, who had been recommended to David Byron by Elton John. David Byron had been friends with Elton since the days they both worked for Avenue Records, recording low budget Top Thirty covers, and, now, with the bespectacled one’s first album completed, the drummer was hence free to join Heep and finish the record off. … VERY ‘EAVY … VERY ‘UMBLE ( packaged differently for the US and simply titled URIAH HEEP ) was released on June 19, 1970.
Eric Singer Project-ESP Live At The Marquee 2006
Two new releases by The Eric Singer Project. The CD has been out for a couple of months but the DVD has finally been unleashed so I figured it best to review both at the same time (besides which they arrived in the same mailer).
Led Zeppelin – Led Zeppelin IV (Deluxe Edition) 2CD (2014)
“Zoso” redirects here. For the character from the TV series Once Upon a Time, see List of Once Upon a Time characters.
The untitled fourth studio album by the English rock band Led Zeppelin, commonly referred to as Led Zeppelin IV, was released on 8 November 1971 on Atlantic Records. Produced by guitarist Jimmy Page, it was recorded between December 1970 and March 1971 at several locations,[1] most prominently the Victorian house Headley Grange.
Ironbird – Black Mountain 2014
Like a Black Sabbath.
Transubstans Records is happy to present the astonishing debut album from Swedish IRONBIRD, a band formed by Transubstans veteran Magnus Jernström (Mangrove). With a perfect blending of skilled musicians and visions, IRONBIRD manages to create a unique mix of the 70’s best era along with the heavy days of the 90’s. Let’s face it – if you’re into BLACK SABBATH, IRONBIRD will blow you away.
Supermansion – ¡Brujeria! (2014)
Genius. That’s the best way to describe this incredible CD — a labour of love by Windsor guitarist Dave Houle, best known for his role in local hard rock unit The Jet Trio and his past role in Grand Marais.
