Nika & Friends is an international project of Polish singer Nika and one of the best Asian metal bands – Melodius Deite from Thailand. The album “Passion” is fusion of melodic progressive metal and classical music, you will also find elements of jazz and pop. Six parts of great classical masterpieces like Mozart’s Requiem or Bizet’s famous opera “Carmen” had been arranged rock/metal style.

Beardmore was created by a group of friends who after playing for years in other bands wanted to write music that interested them, challenged their writing skills and entertaining to the listener. The band was formed by Ben and Tim (ex. UK Vomit) and Colin (ex Dirty Roger) and then Adam (ex Sada, karmalener) was quickly recruited to complete the line up on drums.

Nach dem Kauf aller Studio CD’s kam ein Livemitschnitt gerade recht, da ich die Band inzwischen auch live gesehen hatte. Ein klasse Album. Tolle Liveatmosphäre, exzellent aufgenommen. Man kann eigentlich nicht abschalten, bevor die 2 CD’s zu Ende sind. Sicherlich gibt es (für mich) highlights bei den Songs, (Heut Nacht,Fluchtwagenfahrer)Insgesamt aber ein klasse Teil. Für AC/DC Hörer eigentlich ein muß. Trotz oder gerade auch wegen der deutschen Texte.
