Rock ‘n’ Roll is, to the untrained ear, a fairly bog standard type of music which sticks to a formula, both musically and lyrically, without deviating too far from it. However, this assessment is a bit harsh; when you consider that some of the original legends of the genre like STATUS QUO have very little in common with the roaring, Punk-tinged Rock of their contemporaries like MOTORHEAD, and that in turn has few similarities with the likes of GUNS N ROSES,

Who unfortunately died far too early guitarist Randy Rhoads has become a legend since his death in 1982. This not least because his game inspired many young guitarists at the time served as a model on the two classic Ozzy Osbourne “Blizzard Of Ozz” and “Diary Of A Madman”.

Now that’s what I call Hard Rock!!! Screaming guitars, thundering drums and harsh vocals!!! Who would belive that this remarkable album would come from Bailey Brothers, the hosts of MTV’s metal show, Headbanger’s Ball? (Back then Headbanger’s Ball had something to do with metal, afterwards it lost every connection.) Judgement Day starts with the self-titled track, that gets you back in the late 80’s early 90’s.
