There are many words that could describe the strange genesis of Man as Machine. Some may say that it was a series of misfortunate events, whilst others may say that it was the opportunistic circumstances of the ‘Do Band Up’ shambles that brought the band together. Perhaps it was the mercurial workings of fate or the embattled paths of rock n’ roll that brought this quartet together. Nevertheless, and if the end justifies the means, then it’s safe to say that Man as Machine has arrived.

Just three months after its founding in September 2012, the four boys earned the first train band took first place at the Band Contest “spring” in the Schueuer in Lucerne. The following year, the band played more than 20 concerts, among others at the Rock the Docks Festival in train, Honky Tonk Festival in Schüür, Zuri Rockt in the Old Barracks (ZH) and in other concert halls of German Switzerland. With powerful and authentic performances, the band has made a name and is currently known as Block Hottest iron. This summer took Stuck in traffic on their long-awaited first album in Sarajevo.
