Rare!Ã…ge Sten Nilsen (vocal -Wig Wam).Norwegian 1994 release with a cover of “The Weight”. “Servitørene” (“The Waiters”) were a bunch of female (Birgitte Ø. Andresen, Laila Nordhaug, Maja T. NerÃ¥s, Tove Kampestuen, Yvonne Algrøy) and male (Morten K. Eriksen, Ã…ge Sten Nilsen) singers, working as a sort of “house band”/ “singing waiters” at the Norwegian TV show Rondo in the early ’90s. They later recorded this jumbled assortment of turgid Norwegian and international cover versions, then mercifully disappeared. “The Weight” is performed by the two male “waiters.”
