The success of their sophomore album brought them overseas to the ears of European metalheads, and now they are slowly infiltrating the South-American and Asian markets with their genre-defying brand of music.

Waterland emerged in 2007 as a project created by the guitar player from the now extinguished band Oratory, Miguel Gomes. Waterland had the collaboration of the singers Marco Alves (vocals) ex-Oratory and Bruno Gomes (vocals). The promo CD, self-titled WATERLAND, features 15 songs of heavy metal, each one of them a part of the story of Waterland.
