The prototype of this team was born in 1969 under the name “Burnt Oak”, and after three years band leader Jeff “Dicken” Payne, in consultation with colleagues, decided to change the sign to “Mr. Big”. The the composition at the time also included Pete Crowther (bass, guitar), John Bernip (drums, percussion) and Vince Chaulk (drums, percussion). The first concert of “Mr. Big” in the summer of 1972, in a London club “Marquee”.
