Saarland/Germany is not very famous for its Hard Rock scene. In the early 80s LANCELOT was the No. 1 export from this small German country. The album “But I just can’t stay behind” was their only release, apart from four singles which go back to the year 1979; then they went to America to try their luck under another name and with a style more fitted for the American market. Now all their releases finally are available on one CD!

“Get Lucky” is Loverboy’s best album. When I was in middle school in the early to mid 1980s, this was my favorite album. I had it on cassette, and I played it so much that I wore it out.
Everyobdy knows the song “Working for the Weekend.” It’s a truly great song. But it isn’t necessarily the best song on here. Actually, there’s so much diversity on this CD, it’s somewhat hard to say what the best song really is.
