The Seer took 30 years to make. It s the culmination of every previous Swans album as well as any other music I ve ever made, been involved in, or imagined. But it s unfinished, like the songs themselves. It s one frame in a reel. The frames blur, blend and will eventually fade.

White Sister was one of a multitude of 80’s MOR/AOR rock bands that slipped under the radar, one can only surmise in this case due to serious image/marketing problems. Bad enough to be called ‘White Sister’ (Really? You couldn’t think of anything better?) but just look at the album cover. Hands up everyone who thought this was a disco album by a Pointer Sisters/Sister Sledge rip-off group? Come on, be honest!
