Gentle Knife – Clock Unwound – Gentle Knife II (2017)
Gentle Knife is a Norwegian progressive rock band counting 11 members. With both male and female vocals, guitars, synths, mellotron, woodwinds and everything else you would or would not expect, the band combines the mood of the ‘70s with a modern take on the genre. Gentle Knife’s self-titled conceptual debut album takes you from the clamor of the big city, into an alluring forest. The journey is supposed to renew your energy, but somewhere deep in the forest, you are drawn away from the path, and into the unknown…

Kidd Wikkid – Kidd Wikkid (1992)
Rare hard edged melodic rock band out of Montana, USA. Very rare cd release that hardly ever turns up, which is a shame since the hype that surrounds it, on this occasion, is justified. The album has some cracking songs with huge hooks, nice vocal harmonies, amidst the crunching riffs and swirling keyboards. Another reissue recommendation to all the specialist labels out there.
Virginia Wolf – Virginia Wolf 1986 / Push 1987 (Remastered 2010)
Virginia Wolf was a British rock band of the 1970s and 1980s. Their albums included Virginia Wolf (1986) and Push (1987). The band existed from 1977 until 1988, and featured Nick Bold on lead guitar throughout. Chris Ousey (later of Heartland) was the vocalist for most of this time and Jason Bonham (son of John Bonham) was the drummer on both their albums. David John Hinson (with vocalist Ousey, later of Heartland) was the keyboardist.
Tommy Bolin ‎– The Energy Radio Broadcasts 1998, 2 CD
This is an awesome double disc showcase of Tommy Bolin’s favorite band in concert. There is a major drawback though, the sound quality isn’t the greatest. Yes, it’s better than both of Bolin’s 1976 concerts(Live @ Ebbet’s and Under The Northern Lights), but not by much. The performance itself blows the above 2 shows away, Tommy jamming away at mostly blues and fusion classics.
