Public Domain – Radio Nights (1997)
This is another very smooth AOR record from MTM and will definitely find it’s way into many collections. I actually compare this release to another one of MTM’s softer AOR releases Fake ID. Fans of Westcoast music and artists like Larry Tagg, Rembrants and King Of Hearts should find plenty to like in Public Domain. Billy Trudel has one of those soft and high vocal styles, but isn’t afraid to let it go and really power into some tunes. Opener “Radio Nights” is one of those.
Lou Gramm – Foreigner In A Strange Land 2010
This batch of songs has also been released as Foreigner In His Own Land, Mystic Foreigner and The Best of the Early Years (I’m sure there are others). I suppose you could make the case for avoiding this collection on principle.
VA – Past Times Behind 2017

LOVE.MIGHT.KILL – 2 BIG 2 FAIL 2012
On the heels of being named Gamma Ray’s new drummer, Michael Ehre (Firewind, Uli Jon Roth, Metallium) delivers his second Love.Might.Kill album 2 Big 2 Fail. Much like the debut album LMK blurs the lines between melodic hard rock and heavy/power metal. It might even be safe to say that 2 Big 2 Fail sounds more metal, if not simply heavier, across this album. Yet, LMK still efficiently blends in that hard rock groove in many songs: XTC, Restless Heart, and The Great Escape, by example.
