The release under the title “Under Cöver” absorbed both the best of the well-known covers, and previously unreleased material, in particular, the classic song of David Bowie (David Bowie) “Heroes”. It was recorded in 2015 while working on the album “Bad Magic” with producer Cameron Webb (Cameron Webb) and was one of the last tracks that three musicians recorded in the studio together.

This is most definately one of Rick Springfield’s best albums! It was originally recorded & releasd in 1976 on Chelsea Records, then re-released by RCA in 1982 after Rick’s success with “Working Class Dog” & “Success Hasn’t Spoiled Me Yet”. I first heard this when it was released in 1982, as I was “discovering” music as a child. Nowadays I write, record & perform with my own band & Rick Springfield’s music has always been a major influence on my songwriting & performance.
