We all grew up in the 80’s and a lot of our music reflects that with some major musical influences being Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Kiss, Whitesnake, Queensryche and Ozzy Osbourne among many others. We make music we like, hopefully other people like it too.

The band has been honing their instruments on the ancient gods of doom and blues such as Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Jefferson Airplane, Free among others, musically mixing blues/hard rock with an in depth occult lyrical imagery.

The highly anticipated new release from Black Water Rising, ‘Electrified’, goes for the throat once you press play. There is a depth to this album that is just amazing. It’s very much it’s own animal and stronger than the band’s previous outings.

The single-disc version of “A Fire In The Sky” features 20 songs and focuses mainly on the band’s singles. The heavy hitters are here, of course — “Smoke On The Water” and “Highway Star” — but so are gems like “Perfect Strangers”, the title track from the band’s platinum-certified album from 1984, as well as “Hell To Pay”, from 2013’s “Now What?!”.

When Tyler entered high school, he started listening to rock and roll music, such as The Black Crowes, The Rolling Stones, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
