Annominus – The Architect (2018)
ANNOMINUS are a four-piece band from Denmark, and currently they are on Mighty Music’s roster. It is hard to pinpoint them musically. The label’ s PR text says that they “can best be described as a mixture of Hard Rock and Metal with crunching riffs” and that their music “creates pleasant flashbacks to the ‘ 00s metal scene”.

The FIRST DISC included with the Americade’s “AMERICADENCE:1980~1995” box set is titled “First Cuts” — and features 15 raw tracks of the east coast cult hard rock / metal band’s first recordings — 11 of them previously unreleased!!
Nemesis – Hot On Your Tracks 1986 [reissue 2011]
During their hectic and busy schedule, Nemesis found time to self finance, record and release this truly classic ’80s Melodic Rock/AOR gem in 1986. The record was high on vinyl collectors want lists for years fetching unbelievable prices! Now digitally remastered, Retrospect has made this available on CD for the first time ever.
Kablamachunk! – Chunkology: 1987~1993
Being one of Retrospect’s most eccentric bands, New York-based band KABLAMACHUNK! played a very unique and quirky brand of melodic rock with elements of powerpop, progressive rock and new wave. This double disc anthology contains recordings from their super obscure albums
Ameeting – Unrelenting Punishment 1999 EP
Super rare 3 track e.p. from Las Vegas-based AMEETING, a great metal band thats somewhere between traditional metal and 80’s thrash metal. Originally released in 1999 (although it sounds more like 1989!!), and digitally remastered and re-issued on our RetroThrash label.
The Gents – I Can’t Take It 1981-1984
Retrospect Records are honored to release The GENTS’ music, based out of Baltimore, Maryland. The Gents played consistently on the east coast throughout the 70’s and 80’s. Their ASIA-style song “I Can’t Take It” was featured on the now-classic MTV basement tapes show in 1984. The superb songs here were recorded between 1981 and 1984.
Syntax – Silent Planet 1990
Syntax move into more progressive melodic rock / AOR ground here with most of the songs clocking in at 5 minutes+. The songs, performances, and production are all fantastic and there are obvious influences of Rush, Saga, Peter Gabriel, Sam Brown, Kate Bush, Pink Floyd, Marillion, Max Webster, Millions and Terry Brown all over this recording!!
