Glen Burtnick – Talking In Code (1986)
Glen Burtnick’s name is quite known in the AOR of the universe since the 80s, more especially the excellent “Talking In Code” , his first solo album. An incredibly melodic, well written AOR music from 1986 that unfortunately got lost in the incredible musical year that was 1986.
Dreams So Real – Rough Night In Jericho (1988)
Lead vocalist Barry Marler does a great job on all these songs. The title track hit #28 on the mainstream rock charts, it deserved a better performance a real good rock number.
Delaurian – Delaurian (1993)
This German band is very unknown. They released their debut in 1993 on some independent recordlabel called J-Records. Still the production and sound of the band is from a high quality. DELAURIAN are playing your typical kind of German AOR and Melodic Pomprock. Opener “Warriors of light” is a good example of this mixture.
