PHOENIX RISING – ON THE LOOSE 2013
This is a duo focusing on melodic AOR/FM Rock as once delivered by major bands of the genre like JOURNEY, GIANT, BOSTON andSURVIVOR. Well, PHOENIX RISING released an EP earlier in 2012 (“Give It A Name”) and now “On The Loose” comes as the first full effort by Titta Tani (drummer for Italian Prog Rock legends GOBLIN) and Paolo Caucci who seem really ambitious for their project

Hurry Scuary – Break It Up (1988)
Yep I love this album, along with Big Deal – Passion Rose this would be my favourite Japanese Hard Rock album. Apparently this album was written as the soundtrack to a movie called ‘Top Dog’ (presumably not the Chuck Norris film). It’s pretty heavy rock, but sounds great. Sometimes reminding me of the band Lion.
DeLuxe – American Roulette (1982)
Simply great stuff from this Swiss act from Grenchen released on album in 1982 on Ariola, the same company with Krokus. The production is great and the songs tight with many keyboards, great songwriting and catchy melodies. The band split-up in 1984.
