This is a great disk. The band really cooks and Ian really kicks butt! They really do play as a band, this is a solid and hard-rockin’ effort, they are tight. There are some instrumentals and some fusion-influenced parts, but mainly it’s like a road-tested bar band with great chops. More straight-ahead compared to Saga. Ian plays his heart out. I like it!
