Raquel was a band on the Sunset Strip in the early 90’s and their long-lost debut is actually quite entertaining. This album was produced by Tony Wright, who went on to multi-million sales producing albums for grunge bands such as Korn and Alice In Chains, but grunge Raquel is not. They are 80’s hair metal dudes with big hair, and fun for anyone who likes hair metal.

Great remaster by Rock Candy on an album which deserves much more respect, it’s a really, really melodic and catchy effort. Additionally, there’s 2 bonus tracks recorded live showing Enuff Z’Nuff’s power on stage.

After the release of the album Love/Hate toured with Dio and later with AC/DC. 1991 they tour Europe as support for Skid Row, at the same time the Evil Twin EP is released. In 1992 the band released their second album’Wasted In America’ and another European tour, this time as Ozzy Osbourne’s opening act, was played. Finally the album will be released as a CD remaster with two bonus tracks and brand new liner notes on the Rock Candy label.
