Greg Kihn ‎– Greg Kihn (1976)
Kihn began his career in his hometown of Baltimore, working in the singer/songwriter mold but switched to straightforward rock & roll when he moved to San Francisco, in 1972. He started writing songs and playing coffee houses while still in high school in the Baltimore area. When Kihn was 17, his mother submitted a tape of one of his original songs to the talent contest of the big local Top 40 radio station WCAO, in which he took first prize and won three things that would change his life: a typewriter, a stack of records, and a Vox electric guitar.

With a name like DIRTY ROCKERS it is very easy to catch the attention of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal fans, but to live up to the attention and expectation isn’t as easy as it looks, and boy DIRTY ROCKERS do it with a great deal of success. Without much help from the Internet regarding the band, I set out to dig these rockers, and boy they did impress me!
The Brandos – The Light Of Day (1994)
In the 90’s The Brandos was a popular act in Europe. The extensive touring in Europe helped keeping the interest alive, however Rupprecht and Mason decided to leave the band in 1993. The album The Light of Day was recorded with the help of a few friends, especially ex-Del Lords members Scott Kempner (guitar, vocals) and Frank Funaro (drums, vocals). Most of The Brandos albums at the time was only issued for European release like this their third effort.
