German melodic rockers Dark Sky’s history dates back to a formation in the late 1980’s. Predictable label problems followed the young band in their formative days. Success, in a minimal way, came their way with 2002’s recording ‘Edge Of Time.’ ‘Living And Dying’ released in 2005 on AOR Heaven.

Henning Hallqvist – Time Keeper 2019
In the beginning of March, singer Henning Hallqvist released his debut album “Time Keeper” where he worked with Jim Peterik (Survivor, Pride Of Lions), Tommy Denander (Radioactive, Robin Beck) and Tony Mills (Shy, TNT).
Dark Sky – Initium 2012
Germany’s Dark Sky morphs again with their fifth album Initium. The long running band makes a turn toward more melodic metal, even power metal, and away from some of their earlier hard rock AOR roots. Perhaps it’s no coincidence that ‘initium’ is latin for ‘beginning.’

Freakhouse – Freakhouse (2009)
Wanting to be satisfied with the result Freakhouse always uses the time necessary to make a new album. It took more than 5 years from the release of their previous album “Beautiful Misery” until their self titled fourth album was released.
