Freak House was formed in the mid’ 90’s by Matt Clark (Guitars, Acoustic & Slide Guitars, Backing Vocals), Robert Ferebee (Lead Vocals), Jay Haygood (Guitar, 12 String Guitar, Backing Vocals), Bobby Sharron (Drums, Percussion) and Scott Thompson (Bass, Backing Vocals) They were quickly signed to a one off record deal with Perris Records. The result was the debut Addicted To The Numb. On all subsequent releases they are known as Freakhouse.

In 1973 Melody Maker has an advert announcing…”Singer wanted for German Top 40 band…” – Ian Cussick takes part in the auditions and lands the part as the new lead vocalist for the Tornados, which soon transformed to Lake. In 1974 Ian left Lake and after working as session musician in Germany for a couple of years, he released his first solo album on Metronome. The album has never been reissued on cd.
