Mother’s Little Nightmare – Thrills’N Chills (1989)
In fact musically it’s quite glam. It reminds me something between FASTER PUSSYCAT and THE CULT (period “Love” and “Electric”). Unexpected for a German band. Even if it’s let’s say, in the “3rd division”, some songs are really good like for example the song “Mother’s Little Nightmare”. In any case, it’s rare and even if it’s far to be the best album in the world, they is a lot worse than this…
David Lasley – Missin’ Twenty Grand (US press, vinyl rip) (1982) mp3+flac
Lasley started his music career in his teens, forming a singing group with his sister and achieving some success in the Detroit area. In 1970 he joined the cast of Hair, performing first in Detroit and then on tour. This led to a move to New York City, and performances on and off-Broadway. Lasley started his career as a back-up singer at this time. Along with Vandross, he performed on many of Chic’s and Sister Sledge’s recordings.
