Bad To The Bone – Itchin’ 1996
Steve Heyden formely a musician with the Freiburg combo Backslash formed Bad to the Bone in the early 90s. The band in 1995 released a 4-track demo tape and one full lenght album on Energy label in 1997, that definetely worth your attention, if you like bands like Bonfire, Domain and even Ratt.
DENARO – DENARO (1992)
Rick Kolster (Drive She Said), Van Romaine (The Steve Morse Band, Vinnie Moore), Erik Boyd (Heyday, Messano). This is great rock from a band hardly known, songs like it’s alright and shotgun serenade, straight to hell have a distinguish sound and is so melodic. You’ll be singing along and rock’in for sure.
Eruption – All Screwed Up 2009
“Eruption” is the band formed between lead guitarist Santi Rigolizio and singer Darren Grant with drummer Lee Colledge and bass player Ben White completing the line up. “All screwed up” is their debut released in mid 2009. I suppose, the word “Eruption” in rock terminology has become the most direct reference to the Van Halen heritage. On that count, the band sounds quite a bit like Van Halen, or more accurately like the David Lee Roth band (Vai era)mixed with “MR Big”.

Headmaster – The Kids Said Rock (1992)
Headmaster – The Kids Said Rock” is another hard to find in nowdays, excellent female fronted melodic rock album, released on the Jaguar Records in 1992 feature Neil Murray as guest bassist. The band formed in 1986 consist by Goulstone on guitar, bassist/vocalist Lowrey Peters and former Larry Miller Band and Ninja drummer Dave Raeburn.
Tony Lee Wise – Germania (2007)
During the 80’s Florida native Tony Lee Wise was the screamer on duty with Pierced Arrow & Beowulf, which would later become Crimson Glory. In the early 90’s Mister Wise was a member of Tyger Tyger, of which a review can be found somewhere else on these pages. After the demise of Tyger Tyger he moved to Germany (hence the album title, I think), where this album was recorded with a couple of session musicians.
GYPSY ROSE – GYPSY ROSE (2005) Japanese Edition
lets fans know that hard rock is on the mend. Bands like Firehouse, Cinderella, and many others are on their second uprising and Gypsy Rose is following in the footsteps of some highly touted bands. Their music is vibrant and has the lasting memories of other past favorites Trixter and Bonfire. The songs are catchy and have feeling.
Wanted – Hollywood C.A. (1994)
This is their self produced best of 90-93 that looks like SKID ROW and the style similar to BULLETBOYS, WARRANT, ROXY BLUE and CHILD’S PLAY. Agree with Mike and some others that this isn’t really a great CD when compared to some of the bands whose style they imitate!!
Darusso – Medicine For The Soul (2015) Deluxe Edition
After the impressive success of DARUSSO’s debut long player “Medicine For The Soul” in September, POWER PROG is very pleased to announce the release of the album’s DELUXE EDITION at December 25, 2015 as CD, download card, as digital download and as stream. This version comes with 4 extra tracks including the hit singles “Love Is Blind” and “It’s Time For Love” plus the still appearing singles “Medicine For My Soul” and “Angel Like You”
Street Talk – V 2015 [deluxe reissues]
2006’s V is (you guessed it) the fifth Street Talk release, and if it ends up being their final offering it’s not a bad way to say goodbye. V just sounds more mature and more electric than anything else Street Talk had done at that point. Not quite modern, but not so dependent on the ‘80s AOR framework either. It has a strong Stage Dolls vibe, which is not a bad thing at all.
Passion – Under Covers 2020 EP
The melodious rock band Passion is currently up to date with the EP “Under Covers”, which includes songs from Van Halen, Winger and Slaughter.
