JOKER – JOKER (1995)
I think brasilian bands have the right mentality for the genre.Like Dr.Sin,Joker play a very interesting and extremely personal pure sophisticated hard rock in arrangments with a technical and remarkable rhythmic session(especially drums). These bands need more lucky and some remarkable contract, unfortunately it’s their only cd I suppose.Singer is very good in low/normal tones, not so good in high tones, very personal choruses, too! My fave songs are’Just to leave’and’Suicidal lover’,10/10 for style!

No Love Lost – Bliss 2020
The second record of the North Carolina-based American band is an alternative for GOTTHARD , GREAT WHITE or WARRANT at least. There’s a guest appearance by Paul Shortino (ROUGH CUTT) on “Good Times“. “Bliss“ is „feel good“ rock and emotional as well and offers a lot.
THE BOMBERS – Aim High +3 (AOR Heaven digitally remastered) 2020
A supergroup formed by Alan Lancaster & John Coghlan from Status Quo, and John Brewster of The Angels, “Aim High” was released by a A&M in 1990, so expect that huge major label production and melodic hard rock goodness. I always thought The Bombers as the Australian answer to Damn Yankees, and you can hear into their sound as well touches of Y&T, Thunder, Night Ranger, Hurricane, etc. This album simply kills.

Sic Vikki – Kiss Me In French 1993
Very good 80’s US commercial hard rock with every song sticking in your head. A couple of excellent slower songs in “Her body compliments the beat” & “Damage is done” plus good upbeat numbers with singalong choruses like “Tough Enough”, “Baby talks dirty”, & “Stop breaking my broken heart”. For fans of Danger Danger, Firehouse etc…

Rox Diamond – Rox Diamond (1992)
Fletchanator’s comment: LA-based Rox Diamond were originally known as Casanova (with a different drummer), but changed the name because of an existing band with the same name in Germany.
