Sic Vikki – The Early Years 2015
Formed in ’85, as part of the second wave of Philly area hair metal acts, Sic Vikki were a regional draw after the likes of Cinderella, Britny Fox and Heaven’s Edge had migrated to more lofty endeavors than the South Jersey club circuit. At the end of 80s and into the early ’90s, they were co-managed by Bill Aucoin (yes, the same guy that pioneered KISS’ early success).

KING LIZARD – A NIGHTMARE LIVIN’ THE DREAM (2012)
With A Nightmare Livin ‘The Dream, LIZARD KING sign an album certainly very energetic but unfortunately completely devoid of originality. Martie Peters Group – MPG (2005)
I just discovered this album by the “Martie Peters Group” released in 2005. At the time I was shopping for new releases such “Reece” and “Danger Danger”. But this “MPG” album turned out to be the biggest surprise of them all. From the cover and back photos I knew this was unmistakably an AOR album;
Total Eclipse – Total Eclipse (1992)
When Total Eclipse was formed in the early ’90s, some of its members had impressive resumes. Lead singer Bernie K had been with the superb all-black heavy metal band Sound Barrier, while guitarist Victor Johnson had been a member of the fun and slightly less obscure Bus Boys. This metal/hard rock release — sort of Living Colour meets Mother’s Finest meets Led Zeppelin — isn’t as original as either Sound Barrier or the Bus Boys, but it isn’t anything to be embarrassed by either.
