Highly recommended Hi-tech Scandi AOR, very good for an indie release. Jojo kept springing to mind on initial spins,especially in the typically 90’s keyboard sounds, aswell as a little Toto aswell.

This is a not-to-be-missed reissue, with a great remastering job and the plus of 7 really good and hard to find songs. This is the best version you can find of this great disc. Unfortunately seems out of print now…
STARZ – Violation [Japan mini-LP SHM-CD Limited Release remastered +3 bonus] 2016
As requested, here’s the excellent, now out of print, remastered Japanese Limited Release on SHM-CD of STARZ second album “Violation“, produced by Jack Douglas of Aerosmith fame. STARZ was one of the great American hard rock arena acts from the second half of Seventies on par with Aerosmith, Ted Nugent or Kiss, which despite a lack of major commercial success has a lasting cult following and has been cited as a major influence by bands such as Mötley Crüe; Poison, Bon Jovi and Twisted Sister.

After releasing a self-produced LP entitled Arrive Alive (recorded in Scotland in 1981), Pallas was courted by EMI Records (who had just signed contemporaries Marillion) and went into the recording studio with Yes/Emerson, Lake & Palmer engineer Eddy Offord to record the album that would become The Sentinel.
