The Casanovas – Reptilian Overlord (2020)
“Reptilian Overload“ is the fifth album by the Australians. Produced by Mark Opitz (AC/DC, COLD CHISE). It is sweaty and honest rock with slices of punk and a large portion of sleaze. Tracks like “Hollywood Riot“, “Cold Day In Hell“ or “Stand Back“ are simply fun but will probably work on stage even better. You get a nice, eye-twinkling artwork, too. Does anybody remember the eighties TV show “V: The Series“?
Exile – Keeping It Country (1980/1990) (Reissue of ‘Don’t Leave Me This Way’)
The title of this reissue is quite misleading. “Keeping It Country” is in fact an exact reissue of Exile’s 1980 album titled “Don’t Leave Me This Way” but it predates the releases of the 1980’s when they enjoyed a more sustained wave of success as a country band. One would presume Curb Records decided to rename the 1990 cd release “Keeping It Country” for commercial reasons.

“Midnight Minute” is the only Adult Contemporary / WestCoast / AOR album recorded by Thomas. And what a good one. Glorious mid-tempo tunes, heartful ballads and a couple uptempo songs like ‘If It Takes All Night’ (written by STAN MEISSNER), the absolute winner here, TOP AOR.

Cherry Roxx – I (2003)
Hard to find nowdays indie released in 2003 by the band in very limited copies. A collection of ten tracks cross between hard rock and glam with some metal vibes in parts. Unfortunately the production is quite poor with a very prominent drum, making even the guitars sometimes to heard like succumb.
