After releasing 2 solo albums Rick Derringer formed the band Derringer. Derringer released 3 studio albums (1976-1978). The band on this live recording consist of the last incarnation of Derringer: Rick Derringer (guitar, vocals), Kenny Aaronson (bass, vocals), Myron Grombacher (drums) and Neil Giraldo (guitar, keyboards, vocals). The recording includes rare live version of 5 songs from the last Derringer album ” If I Weren’t So Romantic, I’d Shoot You”. Geraldo and Grombacher would soon after join Pat Benatar.

Venice is a hard rock/folk rock/AOR band from Venice, California, USA, that was formed in 1977. Venice is a band of brothers from Venice, CA. The band consists of two sets of brothers, Mark and Michael Lennon, and their cousins, Kipp and Pat Lennon. Kipp and Pat are younger brothers of the Lennon Sisters.
For their 2024 studio release, Stained Glass, Southern California band Venice have, to paraphrase one of their old song titles, gone “back to the well”
