Teaze – Live At Liège 2025, MP3+FLAC CD-Rip

Remember TEAZE from Canada? In the years 1975-1980 they released a bunch of great hard rock albums with melody including the excellent ‘One Night Stands’ and ‘On The Loose‘ (both featured here some time ago).

After a rather disappointing album called ‘Body Shots’ singer/bass player Brian Danter left the group to follow his religious beliefs. The other musicians did not find a suitable singer and as their label Aquarius pulled the plug on them the group ceased to exist, leaving just a bunch of good memories and several good records behind.
But as is often the case after a hiatus, the blood starts boiling again and in 2019 Danter, flamboyant lead-guitarist Mark ‘The Pawnman’ Bradac, drummer Mike Kozak and newest recruit Chuck Lambrick (he replaced original guitarist Chuck Price) started Teaze again.
Mainly playing in their home country for the first years after their reunion, Belgian promoters Henri Gauthier and Marc Tombal invited Teaze to play at The Golden Age Rock Festival, so on September 30, 2023 the Canadians rocked this festival in the city of Liege and managed to record their performance.
Now Escape Music is releasing TEAZE’s ”Live at Liege”, a kick ass classic hard rocking album plenty of magic. The power is perfectly captured on CD, with Danter’s powerful vocals, the intense drumming and the biting guitar greatly produced & mixed.

It’s like time stood still. The song selection shows the band’s musical width ranging from classic rockers like “Gonna Have A Good Time Tonight”, “Back In Action”, “Young And reckless”, “On The Loose”, “Come On, Hold On” to more melodic stuff like “I’m Not Gonna Cry Anymore”, “Roses And Chrome”, “Heartless World”, and the awesome power ballad “Touch The Wind”.
One of our favorites is the back-beat power rocker from the band’s self-titled debut album, “Flames Keep Growing”, a kick-ass tune, indeed.
A killer set-list and the mix is in your face, hot and powerful and makes you want to press play over and over again.

‘’Live at Liege’’ is an exciting rock and roll record. The Teaze boys have not lost an inch of their touch, still enthusiastic and very capable to create a good atmosphere.
If you are in the mood for some good old fashioned heavy rock, well played and recorded, this CD will make your day!
