Now we have a exclusive: STRYPER celebrates the 40th anniversary of the historic album Soldiers Under Command by releasing ”Soldiers Under Command – Live at Spirithouse” on compact disc. Recorded in June 2021, it remains the only time Stryper performed the album in full.

This limited edition CD (the only format) was only be available for sale at Stryper.com. Released August 23, 2025, and pressed on limited copies, it’s already sold out. Already a collectors item.
This is a professionally recorded, in-studio performance of the entire Soldiers Under Command album, and fortunately isn’t too much post-produced: Stryper sounds raw, really heavy, in your face.

On August 23, 1985, Stryper leapt from a rising California act to a global rock force with the release of Soldiers Under Command. Produced by Michael Wagener, the album’s polished harmonies, sharper songwriting, and powerful message earned both street cred with rockers and inspiration for countless fans.

Now, four decades later, this collector’s edition celebrates that historic moment with ”Soldiers Under Command Live at Spirithouse”. It remains the only time Stryper performed the album in full, and marked Oz Fox’s first show after two successful brain surgeries.

These songs haven’t lost any power, all are fantastic to hear 2025 in these versions – all Stryper members are in great shape, tight, energetic, emotional. An awesome performance.
