JADED HEART formed in 1990 by singer and songwriter Michael Bormann (ex- Bonfire) and his brother Dirk Bormann (guitar) with the line-up completed the following year when Michael Müller (bass, ex- The Sygnet) and later former Mad Max drummer Axel Kruse joined the band.

After a great debut album, the band enlisted impressive guitarist Alex Beyrodt (Voodoo Circle) elevating things to other lever, also Chris Ivo joined on keyboards providing additional textures. The result was JADED HEART’s breakthrough album “Slaves And Masters” released in 1996, then a year after this Japanese pressing including the bonus track ‘In The Nite’, a killer melodic hard rocker.

This record stayed in the Japanese Top 10 import charts for four months and in their home country Germany the band was featured on several national TV shows on RTL, PRO 7 and many more. After that Jaded Heart went out on a big tour with Axxis and Heaven’s Gate that staged more than 40 concerts throughout Europe.
Musically this the JADED HEART we all love: sharp melodic hard rock, muscular AOR emphasis in the choruses, and Bormann’s incredible pristine voice. Just listen to ‘Dangerous’, ‘Without a Warning’, ‘Lust’, ‘Stop The Rainy Days’, whilst ‘The Dream Is Over’ is a midtempo AOR gem.
