Frank Zappa presents Uncle Meat The Mothers Of Invention Movie [1987, Sci-Fi, DVD5]

Uncle Meat is a 1987 film written and directed by Frank Zappa, released on home video (VHS only; Betamax was not released). Conceived in 1968 as a promotional tool for the “Mothers of Invention” project, it remained unfinished for 20 years after filming began.

Since principal photography was never completed, the VHS version is a documentary about the making of the film, including rehearsals and background footage from 1968, as well as interviews with people involved in the unfinished production.
