TURKISH DELIGHT – Volume I (Remastered 2024), MP3+FLAC , fake

Posted on October 20, 2025 in HQ,Melodic Rock | AOR by Alex F

TURKISH DELIGHT is the all-star project featuring the songwriting talents of Steve Overland (FM), Chris Ousey (Heartland), Steve Morris (Heartland), Mick Devine (Seven), Steve Newman (Newman / Compass) and Tommy Denander (Radioactive), all delivering top class melodic rock / AOR material.

The aforementioned musicians also sing / play on the album, complemented by the whos’ who from the scene, just to name a few; Jeff Scott Soto, Ronnie Platt (Kansas), Billy Greer (Streets / Kansas), Billy Sheehan (Talas / David Lee Roth / Mr Big), Gary Phil (Sammy Hagar / Boston / Alliance), Jeff Pilson (Dokken), Chris Childs (Thunder), Mike Slamer (City Boy / Streets / Seventh Keys / Steelhouse Lane), Joel Hoekstra (Whitesnake / Joel Hoekstra’s 13), Robin Beck, Robin Mc Auley (Grand Prix / MSG), James Christian (House Of Lords) and the impressive list continues…
TURKISH DELIGHT “Volume I” has been reissued with a slightly different cover, and Remastered 2024 to polish some original mastering contrast between the songs recorded at different sessions. This “TURKISH DELIGHT – Volume I (Remastered 2024)” is the definitive version.

“TURKISH DELIGHT – Volume I (Remastered 2024)” consists of 15 songs – including Vince DiCola’s keyboard intro originally not present on the regular version – of timeless Melodic Rock / AOR crafted and recorded in a classic style. The register of musical talent is astonishing and prolific.
Every song display the enormous skills of the participants: songwriting and musicianship is at a premium. In other words, every song is terrific.

Here’s a short roll call. For straight ahead AOR rockers, you’ll find Bad Enough, Live Again, or Take It Away. Jeff Scott Soto kills on the rocker Harder They Fall. With the appropriately titled Hangman’s Blues you’ll hear some subtle blues groove provided by Lee Small, Joel Hoekstra, and Tommy Denander.
Something more akin to Westcoast AOR comes with Believe and perhaps Belly Of The Beast, which also passes for a ballad. Things tone done down with slow groove of Bad To Good driven by Steve Overland’s soulful voice, yet made spirited by a Denander frisky solo.

It’s all good. Very good. And now sounding better than before.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
