earMUSIC presents “10 MORE” – the explosive new live album from MC50, which will be released on December 5. It captures the unbridled energy of the 2018 tour, which revived the spirit of one of the most radical and revolutionary rock bands of all time.

Founded by MC5 member Wayne Kramer to mark the 50th anniversary of “Kick Out the Jams”, MC50 brought together an all-star cast of rock veterans: Kim Thayil (Soundgarden), Brendan Canty (Fugazi), Billy Gould (Faith No More), Matt Cameron (Pearl Jam), and Marcus Durant (Zen Guerrilla). Together, they revived the energy that made MC5 a symbol of musical and social change in the late 1960s and 1970s. Recorded during the 2018 anniversary tour, “10 MORE” unleashes the MC5’s greatest songs, including “The American Ruse,” “Call Me Animal,” “Rocket Reducer No. 62 (Rama Lama Fa-Fa-Fa),” “Looking at You,” and “Starship.” The album features recordings from Seattle, WA, Cincinnati, OH, and Hamburg, Germany, and includes songs from all three of the MC5’s original albums—”Kick Out The Jams”, “Back In The USA”, and “High Time”—as well as a cover of the Ray Charles classic “I Believe To My Soul,” which was a staple of their live shows in the late 1960s. These recordings evoke the same urgency that once echoed through Detroit’s underground, where MC5 fused rock, free jazz, and political protest into a sound that challenged America’s status quo.

Following the highly acclaimed final studio album Heavy Lifting (2024) – produced by Bob Ezrin and released shortly before MC5’s induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame – “10 MORE” continues the story of one of rock’s most influential bands with a live document that celebrates their uncompromising spirit.
