A.O.K. (Angels Or Kings) – Unreleased Trax 1988-1992
Today we presented the two official albums by British AOR / Melodic Rockers ANGELS OR KINGS, an ’80s band that struggled for almost three decades to get their music properly recorded & released.
Founded in Manchester, England in 1988, they were made up of ex members of Sam Thunder, Circus and Strutz, and rocked Oxford Road – Manchester’s answer to Sunset Strip – playing the club circuit, as well as opener in larger venues for Dare and Danger Danger.
At their beginnings, ANGELS OR KINGS were in fact named A.O.K., and while they didn’t secured a record deal the guys recorded many demos.
Now we have here the A.O.K. “Unreleased Trax 1988-1992”, songs that circulated for decades among AOR fans, but not with this fine sound quality. You can hear how much A.O.K. evolved thru times, from their 1988 poppy-AOR first demo, to their blasting 1989 keyboard driven style, to the more melodic hard rocking era 1990-1992. All these songs remain unreleased.
