John Fogerty – Hoodoo (The Lost Album) 2013 lossless

Hoodoo is an unreleased studio album by John Fogerty. It was recorded in the late spring of 1976 and intended to be his third solo album. After the John Fogerty solo album, Fogerty wasted no time in recording more material for a new album to be followed with a tour, which would be very low-key, with a small group of musicians.[1] In April, 1976, he released a new single, “You Got the Magic” backed with “Evil Thing,” which barely made it to the charts (#87 on the Billboard Hot 100) and did not sell a great deal.

“Gimme Shelter” is a song by the English rock band The Rolling Stones. It first appeared as the opening track on the band’s 1969 album Let It Bleed. Although the first word was spelled “Gimmie” on that album, subsequent recordings by the band and other musicians have made “Gimme” the customary spelling. “Love Kills” is a song by Freddie Mercury. It was his first song recorded as a solo artist, though the extent to which it is a solo song is questionable, as the three other members of Queen provided uncredited performances. It was originally used in Giorgio Moroder’s 1984 restoration and edit of the 1927 silent film Metropolis, as part of the film’s new soundtrack.
Uriah Heep – Classic Album Selection (5 CD) 2013

Ken Hensley, Mick Box, Paul Newton, David Byron, Nigel “Ollie” Olsson.
It was three quarters into the recording of the album that drummer Alex Napier was replaced by Nigel (Ollie) Olsson, who had been recommended to David Byron by Elton John. David Byron had been friends with Elton since the days they both worked for Avenue Records, recording low budget Top Thirty covers, and, now, with the bespectacled one’s first album completed, the drummer was hence free to join Heep and finish the record off. … VERY ‘EAVY … VERY ‘UMBLE ( packaged differently for the US and simply titled URIAH HEEP ) was released on June 19, 1970.
