Fresh instrumental interpretations of some of the masterpieces of Progressive rock music and some original pieces. This instrumental project was born of our friendship and the same incurable and inextinguishable love of classical and progressive rock music. Between the two genres there exists a continuum of sound – who can say where one ends and the other begins?

Lyonite is a young Dutch training working in a Prog Metal Symphony in particular inspired by Symphony X. The first effort of the combo, entitled “Disguised in Darkness” is available from the beginning of the year.

Somebody’s been digging into their father’s, or grandfather’s, record collection. They’ve been listening to recordings of The Doors, Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa, Traffic, Quicksilver Messenger Service, and Cream, among others. Those people are the band Tangerine Stoned, from Italy, delivering their self-titled debut album on Moonlight Records.

Training with Power metal vocalist Croatian Women, RISING DREAM, posted the video of the song “Confession”. The topic included in the new album of the band entitled “System Corrupt”. The LP is the first with their new vocalist Ines Tancheva to enter the band in 2009.

The album was recorded at Sweetspot Studio in Halmstad, Sweden with producer Rickard Bengtsson (Arch Enemy, Firewind). Some songs that will appear on the album are: “Religion For The Weak ‘,’ Jericho ‘,’ Gunshot Melodies’, ‘System Corrupt’ and ‘Probe The Bloodline’. Corrupt System also include cover of A Perfect Circle “The Outsider”.

The Rainbird is an Italian band put together by songwriter/guitarist Fabrizio “Bonalien” Bonanno. Their music lies somewhere between sleazy hard rock and AOR, and it lies there wounded and stabbed. While there’s likeable elements in some of the songs, all hope is gone when the vocalist starts singing… He is so out of key most of the time that it’s sheer torture to listen to these songs. Where’s Autotune when it’s needed? Wasn’t anybody listening in the studio?Review by Kimmo Toivonen
