Area51 – Judge The JOKER 2015
Formed in 2003 by Japanese guitar wunderkind Yoichiro Ishino, Area51 – despite previous collaborations with the likes of vocalist Rob Rock and producer James Borgen – so far have made little if any impact outside the founder’s homeland. That could be about to change with this, the project’s fourth album, thanks to the recruitment of Soilwork drummer Dirk Verbeuren, Symphony X bassist Mike LePond and renowned session keyboard whizz Matt Guillory (best known for his work with James LaBrie’s solo band).

Swirl – Swirl 2015 (2013)
“Swirl is the new age of rock”
Swirl was formed by guitarist Duane “DT” Jones in Washington State. The earliest version of the band scheduled a recording session in Southern California, but due to a scheduling conflict the original drummer was a last minute cancellation. One brief phone call later brother Brian “Bam Bam” Jones was brought in to record drums and became a permanent member of the band. Swirl went on to release their debut CD ‘Out Of Nowhere’.
French Kiss – French Kiss 2015
The American hard rock band French Kiss will in a few weeks to start the filming of a debut album that one should keep an extra eye on if you dig names like Poison, Skid Row, LA Guns and Def Leppard. The music video for the first single “Got It Good”.
