With all the pretty good to excellent albums I’ve been listening to lately I suppose I was due one that didn’t hit the mark and unfortunately for Zarthas it has happened with their second album Spit/Ignite. Hailing from Oulu in Finland they are, according to the Press Release “electrorockers”, mixing the metal, electro and progressive genres! Apparently the album “smoulders at first, bursts into flames and leaves only the ashes”!
Lancelot Lynx – No Time to Die (2014)
Although the tape is to be settled geographically a little more to the north, LANCELOT LYNX has her roots in the NWoBHM what one notes easily in the debut “No time To”. She was the more happily then absolutely than she might appear in the interlude of BLAZE BAYLEY and the SEAWEED TYGERS OF PAN. Now there are after the maiden EP’s taste of 2010 a total of twelve brand-new pieces with which three boys from Ireland want to gain a foothold in the often so crude music business.
