Carousel Vertigo – Mighty (2013)
Drawing influences from 70s bands such as Humble Pie, Cheap Trick, Grand Funk Railroad, Free, early Aerosmith and Bon Scott-era AC/DC, Carousel Vertigo will perhaps be best known to UK audiences from their support slots on two Status Quo tours – the ‘Pictures Exposed’ trek in 2009-2010 and the ‘Quid Pro Quo’ jaunt in 2012. Indeed, one of the tracks on the album, ’3rd Degree’ was co-written by Quo bassist John ‘Rhino’ Edwards.
Cruz Machine – The West (2013)
This album began twenty years ago when I arrived on the west coast to seek a showbiz career. Instantly, I was catapulted into the rock n’ roll dimension as a lead singer for an ” in your face” original shock rock band playing at Whisky a Go Go and The Roxy.
Manraze – I Surrender EP (2013)
MANRAZE, the London-based rock band formed by iconic DEF LEPPARD lead guitarist Phil Collen, along with punk rock forerunner Paul Cook (SEX PISTOLS) on drums and Simon Laffy, rockin’ bass player of Collen’s former glam-band, GIRL, will release their new EP, I Surrender, on November 12th.
