Bus Stop Dreams – Don’t Forget to Breathe 2012
now from germany
Today Bus Stop Dreams release the album “Don’t Forget to Breathe”. And yes, it’s also my own album debut, even if it’s not the first album my colleagues in the band have appeared on. My colleagues are my duo partner Lasse Thomasson and also part time members like Jan Johansen, Sonja Hewer, Ulla Wrethagen, Pär Enqvist among others. I won’t scream any superlatives about the songs but just state that I’m immensely proud over this album that breathes soft classic rock with country vibes, but where there’s also room for beautiful pop melodies and dystopic group cuddles. Here are two songs with lead vocals by German singer Sonja Hewer. The album art was created by the artist Linnea Strid.

alk about an unexpected musical constellation! Göran Edman, singer extraordinaire with bands like Madison, Yngwie Malmsteen, Kharma, Norum, Glory etc., Björn Inge, drummer with classic seventies hard rockers November and renowned keyboard player Max Lorentz, flanked by bassist Morgan Korsmoe (Larz Christerz) and guitarist Ludwig Larsson (Dynamite Sky). Well, if I would compare these guys to any of their previous outings, it would definitely be November.

Yep, that’s her real name.
OK, it’s her first and middle name, but one should take fortune where they find it. Those who might find sacrilege in this invocation of a sainted handle can rest assured that it’s in good hands. In this case, a young (born 1992) woman who more than personifies a great and grand American tradition.
Dan Savik – Heading West 2012
now from sweden
This is it! Dan Savik’s long awaited release of new material! Heading West was written and recorded during 2011-2012 on the Swedish west coast. The album contains a wide variety of exciting adult contemporary styles, soft rock, west coast and soul. This is an album built around skillfully crafted songs and well produced arrangements, packed throughout with melodic hooks and background vocals put to effectful use! All in the mood and style of legends like Toto, Chris De Burgh, Don Henley and Simply Red among others.

A delightfully sleazy low-fi trio of numbers is displayed on the self-titled debut EP from Chicago’s Stone Cold Outlaw.
The band’s been gradually building up a profile and have been picked up as openers by the likes of Tracii Guns’ League of Gentlemen as well as appearing at the Rock ‘N’ The Valley Festival alongside Warrant and Skid Row. They were also featured at Chicago’s Rocklahoma launch party at The Double Door, co-headlining with fellow ‘Windy City’ rockers Hessler.
“Excess” slices this EP wide open with Mark Shred‘s razor like riff over the punky rasp of Polish lead vocalist Karina Sunqueen, who’s out on the town ‘being your fantasy, shots of whiskey and getting frisky’ — not a great rhyme to be sure but trust me, it works.
Layla Milou – REBORN 2012
now
From punk-brat Layla Milou of yore with their debut THE PINK PARADE has now slipped to “felt endless” three years a tough butterfly that is getting ready with a new image, that is also new production and new label The Rock and Metal to plow scene. The result goes by the name REBORN momentous and to present itself as the Mittzwanzigerin quite grown up, so at least the letter. Even when studying the track list some pretty grown-sounding songs stand out. I would classify times roughly “Porn”, “Murder in High Heels”, “Fuck you”,
