he band name in combination with the artwork might cause some confusion; the presented music is not quite as sleazy, heavy or dark as the first impression suggests. Maybe the band wants to sound slightly more in that direction, reading their references Avenged Sevenfold and Black Label Society. Personally I can hardly see any links to aforementioned bands; this is just very well performed

Old school heavy metal might not be my favorite metal genre, but checking out Red Eyes’ debut album Obey The Beast was certainly worth the while. The five guys from Amsterdam play heavy metal with an unique sound. The band has been around since 2008 and just released this promising debut.

Since 1996 there MAINPOINT from Rostock and have since been released three albums and two EPs. For greater awareness that has not taken care of, at least for me the band’s name was until now unknown. With “Black Traveller” appears for the second time on an album Third Day Records, the label of the same German punks. With Punk MAINPOINT however, have less to care, they play music between gloomy gothic rock and Goth’n’Roll.

Leviathan Records has released CJSS’ The 7 Hills Demo, featuring members of THE MIGHTY SWINE (Mike Skimmerhorn) and CINCINNATI SINNERS (Russell Jinkens).
CJSS recorded this demo back during their heyday of the mid to late 80s. Featuring David T. Chastain on guitar, Russell Jinkens on vocals and rhythm guitar, Mike Skimmerhorn on bass and vocals, and Les Sharp on drums, CJSS played real songs that featured power vocals, guitar mastery, intense drums and pounding bass.Â
