2Ugly2Die – Tiefenrausch 2012
NOW!GERMANY …
Dig deep into the loo certainly have no one to whom the band met 2Ugly2Die first time – in the toilet cover art or not. For the trio’s music is far from grottig or shit, but can be heard in the general. The Berlin go though. In the self-imposed “rapture of the deep”, which seems to mean the bottom line is however that one of the German Rock missed a damn heavy bias and thus the direction of heavy rock and stoner-squint
The ten tracks collected here almost rolling over the listener away, cover of rolling over slowly threatening to tough all typical nuances. The “rapture of the deep” turns out to be so as extremely heavy rock interpretation of dirty Gröhlgesang and metal guitar riffs.
The Kentucky Linemen – Outlaw Country Revival 2012
NOW!Like a ZZ TOP…
In an ocean of pop and teen influenced country music recurrently being produced in Nashville, the Linemen’s sound is a vessel of true country authenticity.
What strikes you almost immediately upon hearing the sound of the Kentucky Linemen’s music, is how utterly distinctive it is. Distinctive, yet familiar.
Recalling tinges of The Gatlins and Alabama, the Kentucky Linemen’s harmonies are a driving force behind their signature sound. In an ocean of pop and teen influenced country music recurrently being produced in Nashville, the Linemen’s sound is a vessel of true country authenticity. Music Row Magazine’s Robert K. Oermann said; “Hearty harmonies are the hallmark here. The Kentucky Linemen sing with immense gusto”. Oermann declared the boys Music Row Magazine’s DisCovery Award Winner in July of 2010. Along with the brothers’ soulful sibling harmonies you’ll be treated to bonuses. James Fletcher’s SRV/Chet Atkins/Pete Anderson influenced, reckless, yet never crash and burn playing style and tone will have you rewinding more than once. If you’re a foot tapper/dashboard beater, damage is likely with twin brother, Jon, behind the drum kit layin’ down his rock solid beats and keepin’ the downbeat deep “in the pocket”. No vocal group is complete without a lead vocalist who has style and skill enough to help set their sound apart from all other pro bands. Lead vocalist and youngest brother, Mitchell, will convince your ears quickly he has this position filled and covered with range, tone, and a smokey outlaw rigid delivery second to none.

now!
9xDead is a veteran self-proclaimed “dark rock” act from South Wales in the UK – the name confirms it. Musically 9xDead is a mix of traditional hard rock and heavy metal with some Gothic metal elements added to spice things up, and their latest releaseCursed is a good one.
Pain (the emotional kind) is a central theme of their music, whether the pain of loneliness, nightmares, fears, death or sadness. The music is as dark as the lyrics, with heavy bass grinding guitars and intense riffs giving Cursed an almost steam-punk or Gothic feel without borrowing too much from those genres. Influences of old-school metal acts abound, but they are only influences – 9xDead has taken these and made them their own. The hints of punk and Gothic metal only add to the moodiness of the release, which somehow manages to stay melodic throughout.

Andrzej Citowicz – Year Of The Dragon 2012
NOW!YES YES…
A passion that started as early as he can remember.
As a teen living in Communism it was hard already being who u’d want to be so he became content with living the dream in his room with 100s of posters of his idols.
Andrzej’s music is inspired from the hardships that he had to go through, the death of his beloved father ( a simple miner but a great man) and the world’s greatest musicians and 80’s bands… Richie Sambora (Bon Jovi), Warrant, Joe Satriani, Phil Collen (Def Leppard), Whitesnake, Danger Danger, James Hetfield and Eddie Van Halen.
Miles Of Will – Wild Ride 2012
NOW!
Regarding from Melodicrock.com: Musicians Will Champlin andMiles Schon recently joined forces in a new band they are calling Miles of Will. The duo’s debut EP is out now and available via Facebook.com/milesofwill. Digital Downloads will be made available shortly. Here is a little background info on the pair, as reported in Marin Independent Journal (San Rafael, CA), interview by Paul Liberatore.
“They have mixed emotions about being the sons of rock stars. “We’ve got a little bit of a push because of that, which is great,” said Champlin, whose dad, singer-songwriter Bill Champlin, is a former member of Chicago and a founder of the legendary Marin band the Sons of Champlin. But, as a 28-year-old lead singer and keyboard player, just like his dad, being his father’s son can also be a source of considerable insecurity. “It can be pretty overwhelming sometimes,” he admitted. “You want to pretend like you’re not, and then you think, ‘But would people still like me?'”

NOW!Kissing…
Kissin‘ Black are acoustic and raw. Sometimes fast and hard-nosed, at times slow-going but always catchy!
Driven by grayest Swiss skies and southern charm; four figures who need the black to find the colours, they want to experience the loss to savour the rising. A fascinating and relaxing rock-bath between melancholia and aspiration. Kissin‘ Black provides the perfect soundtrack for calm moments. Love, affection, light and above all music. With those atmoshperes the band from Lucerne enriches their sound in the midst of mist and mountains. With some fragile words, a glass of red wine and a bottle of fuel.

Now!mmm…
San Francisco based Doom Rockers, ORCHID, have announced to release an EP featuring 3 brand new tracks + 1 song from the latest full-length album, Capricorn, on September 7, 2012.
The EP, entitled Heretic, marks the first release for Nuclear Blast and will be released both digitally as well as on 10? vinyl.
Commented guitarist Mark Baker: “Late in 2010, after we submitted the „Capricorn“ full length to our label and waited for the release, we realized that there wouldn’t be any extensive touring, so we just kept writing and rehearsing new material. A few months later, we were back in the studio cutting basics for new songs. By the time we finished the business of changing labels, we had way more than one album worth of new songs. We, along with Nuclear Blast, decided it would be a great idea to release a few of those on an EP this year while we wrap up everything for our next full length. We’re really excited for people worldwide to get a chance to check out what we’ve been up to in the last year. These new songs have the classic, anthemic ORCHID sound that people expect from us, along with a few elements that we’ve never shown before.”
