Asleep In The Stars is a new instrumental progressive metal band based out of Chicago.The brainchild of guitarist/bassist Phil Kalas, Asleep In The Stars brings together the rhythm section sounds of bands like TesseracT and Animals As Leaders, the odd time signatures of King Crimson and Dream Theater, with the moody and atmospheric synth sounds of Hans Zimmer and The Algorithm.
