EDGE OF ATTACK – EDGE OF ATTACK 2013
Preparing to launch their self-titled debut album on the unsuspecting world is Alberta Canada’s Edge of Attack. This metal band boasts to female players, one on lead vocals (you probably suspected that), and the other on bass. Their chosen genre is basically classic melodic power metal with some thrash elements and modern nuances. Read: death, sometimes hardcore, vocals provided by one of the male players, and this is likely the album’s only flaw.

Sidewalk Entertainment acquired the rights to the “long-lost”, “Hail Mary” from the album Dark New Day – the group with Clint Lowery (guitar; SEVENDUST), Corey Lowery (bass, ex-Stereomud, Stuck Mojo), Brett Hestla (vocals, guitar, ex-creed, Virgos Merlot), Will Hunt (drums; EVANESCENCE, ex-SKRAPE, Tommy Lee) and Troy McLawhorn (guitar, EVANESCENCE). CD was to be the end of the group’s debut effort, “Twelve Year Silence”, but he did not was released.
