Up from the supposed ashes of the 80’s hair metal scene arise “TURBULANCE” a band from Winchester, VA that has picked up where some of the heroes of that era have left off. The band has a very energetic and charismatic chemistry that can not be mistaken for the meaningless manufactured music of today. The band formed in 1997 by Jimmy Dougherty and JR Clark has definitely been a staple in the Northern Virginia area. In terms of live shows, no matter what size the venue, you will always leave a “TURBULANCE” show feeling like you have just had a National Act concert experience. The bands stage performance is reminiscent of the Hair Bands of the 80’s with a party-time attitude.
