Biography MELDRUM is a multinational hard rock/metal band that has toured worldwide with Lemmy Kilmister’s Motörhead, Zakk Wylde’s Black Label Society, Sepultura, Danzig, Nashville Pussy, as well as sharing the stage with many more. Touting a combination of mammoth vocal styles along with aggressively melodic vocals, mind bending guitar riffs and a rhythm section that creates fiercely bombastic grooves, this is what gives MELDRUM their unique, cutting edge sound. Featuring a new lineup in 2008, their newest members include metal vocalist Michele Madden (Tourette’s) and Laura Christine (Warface) on bass guitar. Michelle Meldrum, raised by parents in the entertainment business, began her career when she and drummer, Gene Hoglan, started their first band Wargod. Gene went on to notoriety with Death, Dark Angel, Testament, Fear Factory, Strapping Young Lad and many others, while Michelle founded Phantom Blue (on Shrapnel, Roadrunner, and Geffen Records). IN THIS MOMENT began work on the new album just a few months following the departures of drummer Jeff Fabb and guitarist Blake Bunzel, who left the band late last year in order to join the backing group of “American Idol” finalist James Durbin. Fabb and Bunzel have since been replaced by Tom Hane (THYATEIRA) and Randy Weitzel(FLATLINE, 3/13, AMERICAN MASSACRE), respectively.
