Hailing from San Luis Obispo, CA, The Ragged Jubilee are a distinctive seven member Rock and Blues band. Combining the sound and energy of countless acts across the last century (from the early days of the Delta Blues to the heyday of Classic Rock) they use their influences to write music that sounds fresh and vital. Releasing a record in Spring of 2011, American Moan, the band has seen success in their multiple West Coast tours and in the press. Marcos De Lahueria of Spain’s “Popular 1 Magazine,” praises, “…it is to my taste the best debut of the year, and even the last five years.” Using their musicianship and passion, the band weaves between bombastic intensity and emotive songwriting prowess. Crashed Dreamed Boomed, Australian singer songwriter Phillip Michael Vasiliades, awakens from the suburban cocoon and cuts loose his creative juices for 2012.His new release of rocking, melodic original songs follows up his 2009 album When. Crashed Dreamed Boomed explores classic rock, blues, electro funk and jazz genres. Throw in a couple of mega pop ballads and you’re in the picture. Uniquely original crafted lyrics, a journey in rhyme from fantasy to reality. “Ice flows and carpet rides”, universal themes of the heart, to tongue in cheek locations, it’s all in the words.

His band provides a dream canvas, to create, explore and galvanise this original piece of work with their exceptional musicial talents. Garth Thompson on drums, renowned Australian icon (ex The Strangers), Phillip has had the pleasure to work with him over the past 16 years. The results speak for themselves. Jeff Mead on Sax and Clarinet, a close associate of Phillip’s who provides sublime wind colourations to the muse. Ric Wong, the dynamic guitarist takes the record to another level with his ambient and brutal guitar playing. Always in control. Malcolm McMahon whose keyboard, vocals, guitar and all round musical talents help frame this aural vision. Phillip indulges his love of bass guitar, adds presence with his keyboard and guitar work and of course his voice. With the many years of live work right there, front and centre the focal point of Crashed Dreamed Boomed. Phillip’s songwriting continues to grow with his long musical career and experience. His soulful and passionate presentation of his new crop of original material is a high point of new releases for 2012.

Southwest Rock and Blues innovators The Rudy Boy Experiment hail from the land of enchantment of Albuquerque New Mexico. The act has become very popular in the western U.S. This 3-piece group features the multi-talented Rudy “Boy” Jaramillo on vocals, as well as lead and rhythm guitar, Dave Pankuch on bass, and Ricardo Sanchez on drums.
Rudy Boy has released close to 10 albums over the past decade, with a growing national fanbase anticpating each debut.
In 2010, The Rudy Boy Experiment signed a digital distribution deal with DSN Music, to give the group a worlwide platform for their long awaited release Places. The 11 track release features a contemporary southwest rock sound, with a strong influence of vintage blues. Places featured several tracks which became popular radio singles such as Glam Trash.
In 2011, The Rudy Boy Experiment released their second national album Volume 2, which included a compilation of previous indie singles from the group. This release was supported by a west coast tour which included high profile stage performances at SXSW and Las Vegas. Rudy Boy’s effortless promotions include many high profile radio interviews nationwide, ranging from Fox Sports Radio to NPR, and as a regular on 94 Rock’s morning show in Albuquerque. Rudy Boy also enjoyed an endorsement deal from Reverend Guitars, which provided a platform to show off his Volcano on tour.
In 2011, Rudy was successful spearheding the 1st Annual DSN Music Blues Fiesta in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Rudy’s single As The Cursor Blinks was featured in the DSN Music compilation album Soundtrack to the End Times.
